- life with her grandparents was strict to say the least, though up until she started to rebel they got along great. when she became a teenager though, that's when the trouble started and she began to exhibit too many of her mother's traits for them to want to put up with and gave her the ultimatum really to shape up or ship out. not that they were going to throw her out on the streets, but had threatened boarding school in hopes that maybe it would shape her up.
- when she was fifteen, she ran away from their home. curfews and limitations were not her thing and she ended up crashing at a friend's house for the majority of her high school education, though sometimes she wondered if her friend's parents ever really knew she was there. they were gone so much and left the girls to their own devices that they could probably not have spent a night under the roof and they'd have never known.
` was given her first tattoo by a friend learning who had just purchased their first gun and she was all too happy and willing to be their test subject. it was the first time that she had actually found something she loved. to this date she can't really remember the amount of tattoos that she has, though she knows she's approaching thirty, if she hadn't passed that threshold yet.
- has an issues with asking for help though she absolutely hates to fail and is probably the hardest on herself is she thinks that she's going to. while she's not exactly an angel, she has worked hard through everything to graduate from high school, and she even did it with honors, though she doesn't like to boast about it. when she couldn't get scholarships for college, she decided to forgo it, but it wasn't like in this economy it mattered much.
- has a good heart, though she tends to keep it hidden by a tough exterior unless she feels close to you and can drop her guard with you. she's been hurt one too many times by the people she's loved to put it out on display. fool her once, shame on you. fool her twice, shame on her. she doesn't give anyone a third chance though.
- can be flirty by nature, though if she actually tried to flirt would end up looking like an idiot. when it comes to matters of the heart and liking people, she tends to show that she's interested by giving them a hard time. she's the prime example of that stereotype that all the parents tell their kids about how a boy will pick on you in grade school if he likes you, only, she's not a boy.
- has and will always think of herself as pansexual. she is attracted to a person's heart, mind and soul more than she is in the casing in which they walk around the earth in. it doesn't matter who they are, if she falls for them for any reason, it's for anything but the sex they identify as. an orgasm is an orgasm, no matter who you're getting it from.
- is an avid lover of books, and loves to curl up with a good one when she can and lose herself into it. she's a big fan of fantasy and stephen king. she's got an entire bookshelf filled almost with all of her favorite books that no matter how many times she's read it will still continue to read it over and over again. a good book is like a good friend.
- her favorite holiday is halloween and her favorite time of the year is "fall" though, it's not like it really exists in florida. she hopes though, that one day she'll be able to at least travel enough to where she can experience the seasons, even if it's just for one. she, however, isn't a fan of pumpkin spice anything but it could be because it's so cliched and shoved down her throat that it's her way of boycotting against the normal, or rather, the "typical white girl" status.
- followed her now ex boyfriend from daytona to chicago after they'd graduated. the relationship didn't weather the move very well and she'd caught him cheating on her when she came home early from work. instead of tucking her tail between her legs and going back to a place that she wasn't really wanted, she instead decided to make a home for herself in chicago, having made friends there already. to her, life was nothing but an adventure and this was just another scene in hers.
